BCN eMotorsport is the Formula Student team from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), based in Barcelona. Founded in 2007 as the first team in Spain, it has a long history of innovation. It was a pioneer in the country, building the first electric single-seater (2012) and the first autonomous one (2018).

Currently, the team designs and manufactures a single vehicle, the CAT18x, capable of competing in both the electric (piloted) and autonomous categories. It combines the best of its predecessor teams, ETSEIB Motorsport and Driverless UPC, to take on the greatest technical challenges. Its focus is centered on the optimization of the chassis, aerodynamics, powertrain, and autonomous control systems.

BCN eMotorsport competes in the most prestigious competitions in Europe, such as Formula Student Germany and Spain, where it consistently positions itself as the best Spanish team, demonstrating a commitment to engineering excellence and the development of future leaders in the sector.
