Queen Mary Formula Student (QMFS) is led by Team Principal Zara. An open-wheel race car is designed, built, and raced by this student-led team at Formula Student UK, which is held annually at Silverstone Circuit. Preparations are currently being made for the 2025 competition, and partners who share a passion for innovation, sustainability, and the future of automotive engineering are being sought.

Founded in 2016 and based at Queen Mary University of London, QMFS is a student-run motorsport society. Through this society, aspiring engineers, business strategists, and designers are brought together for the creation of a Formula-style race car, from concept to competition.

Formula Student UK, which is organized by the IMechE, is Europe’s most established student engineering competition. Teams are tested on design, manufacturing, project management, and financial performance.
